The Introduction of Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP) Technology allows players the ability to adjust the face angle independently of the loft, which is controlled by Flight Control Technology (FCT). The ASP sole plate provides ±2° of face angle change (neutral/square, 2° open, 2° closed). You can create three lofts with the same face angle, or you can further accentuate a face angle or counter a negative face angle.

How I hit them: I hit this club great without any tweaking. I was surprised not only by the distance but the height as well. Shot after shot hit high off the back net of the Interbay range which put a rather large smile on my face. The Taylormade rep was also a great help. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jason comments r11 driver: I thought the white club head would be distracting and strange looking but I have to admit this club looks great with the white crown and black face. The ability to adjust the face angle and loft is great as always with the TM line of drivers. The multiple shaft offering with the TP line is great for players with faster swing speeds looking to optimize ball flight.

Ian comment r11 driver: Do I really need to write an introduction to the R11? Probably the most brilliant marketing scheme the golf world has ever seen. I still marvel at seeing the white driver used on tour when the player doesn’t have a lick of Taylormade gear on. Home run for the Taylormade marketing department to say the least. This thing is more than a funky colored gimmick though as there is a tremendous amount of technology built in from grip to toe. Loft adjustability, face angle adjustability, and weighting options make this thing the space shuttle in a golf club. Brilliant marketing aside, this is one tricked out, great looking stick.
